Rockstar has hinted that it is developing a sixth installment to the "Grand Theft Auto" series and earlier media reports had suggested that "Grand Theft Auto 6" would be available for consoles in the next year or so. The "Grand Theft Auto" series is all about missions across vast locations and excited fans have been speculating on where and when "GTA 6" would be set. Some reports had suggested that that the game could be set in London, as it is similar to Los Santos, while a fan made trailer seemed to show a Middle East setting, where the main character could be seen fighting with terrorists. There were also reports that "GTA 6" could be set in the continental United States, featuring the states of either Oregon or Texas. Recent reports had suggested that Rockstar would map the entire USA for "GTA 6", which will be twice the size of "GTA 5".

Now according to the latest reports, the famous Ryan Gosling will star in the next installment of the franchise that will be set in the 1980s with Vice City as the main location. The reports claim that Rockstar had tailor-made a protagonist for Gosling and the actor had reportedly agreed to the role. Incidentally, Ryan Gosling stars in Nicholas Winding Refn's masterpiece, Drive, which is apparently inspired by Rockstar's work with "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City."

"GTA 6" is expected to be launched between 2018 to 2020, and will be available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and the Windows PC, followed by its mobile application versions.
