'GTA Online' DLC rumors: Next content drop may feature Halloween items, could be released very soon

(Rockstar Games)Halloween items may be coming soon to 'GTA Online'

Much of the attention being paid to Rockstar Games right now may be due to the recent announcement of "Red Dead Redemption 2," but fans may still want to show "GTA Online" some love, as it could be set to receive some new content very soon.

With only a few days remaining in October, the expectation is that Rockstar will yet again release some Halloween-themed goodies for the immensely popular online component of "GTA 5" sometime soon.

As of now, Rockstar has yet to tease that anything is coming soon, though notably, the developers didn't release the new Halloween items until the very tail end of October.

To be more specific, last year's Halloween event went live on Oct. 29, so there's still some time left for Rockstar to release some teases and build up hype for the expected DLC drop.

As for what may be inside the rumored "GTA Online" content drop, going by last year's offering, new vehicles designed to frighten onlookers may be provided to the players.

Players may also get some seasonal cosmetic items that should help them look prepared for both a night of trick and treating or simply just scaring their fellow fans.

Lastly, a new Adversary mode may also be included in the rumored Halloween DLC drop to help players really get into the scary holiday spirit.

In a new video, prominent "GTA" player and tipster "MrBossFTW" offered some suggestions for what could be featured in the Halloween DLC drop, pointing to some interesting environmental tweaks that may help make this particular in-game event truly memorable.

For now, only the folks over at Rockstar really know what it is coming down the pipeline, though hopefully, they will start teasing the new DLC drop shortly.

More details about "GTA Online's" rumored Halloween DLC drop should be made available soon.
