With HTC unlikely to release its next flagship around MWC 2016, attention has been turning to when it could possibly arrive. Now, rumors have indicated that the device could be available in retail stores sometime in the first half of May.

Reporting on the arrival of the HTC One M10, which has been codenamed "Perfume," tipster Evan Blass stated that it will land in stores sometime during the week of May 9. He provided this information on his Twitter account and even stated there would be an HTC Smartwatch arriving a little earlier. Coming to the launch of the HTC One M10, which is going to be the next flagship smartphone from the company, it could take place on April 11 in an event which is scheduled to take place in London.

A lot of rumors about the flagship M10 have continued to swirl on the Internet. One particular rumor focused on the type of camera that would arrive with it. The rumor pointed towards a 12 MP camera with a Sony IMX 377 sensor appearing on the rear of the device and it would have a pixel size of 1.55 µm. Along with this would come features like laser and phase detection autofocus. On the front of the M10, a 5-megapixel camera with a sensor size of 1.34 µm pixel size could be present. It is also thought that both the front and back cameras will come with OIS.

Finally, attention has also been focusing on the design of the M10 and recently, renders for it leaked on the Internet. These showed that the device could possible come with a mix of features that are seen on the HTC One A9 and also on last year's flagship, the One M9. Also, the camera was seen occurring below the antenna line at the back of the device. However, there was no indication if the device has a fingerprint scanner onboard but many expect it will be included in the home button.
