The Night Shift mode changes the intensity of the blue light coming from the display screen to help users sleep and feel comfortable when using the iPhone, iPad, or iPod at night.

It is also good to remember that this update will only be available for certain iPhone, iPad, and iPod models. For the iPhone models, the ones that are compatible with the update are from the recent models, namely the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and to the oldest model being the iPhone 4s. For the iPad, the models are iPad Pro, iPad Air and Air 2, iPad 3^rd Gen and 4^th Gen, iPad 2 and iPad mini, and their versions of mini 2, mini 3, and mini 4. Finally, for the iPod, only the 5^th-generation and 6^th-generation are compatible.
