iOS 9.3 news: Features and release date

(Official Website of Apple)

iOS 9.3 is about to arrive, but the most important information on when exactly is still shrouded by mystery. In a report by Gotta Be Mobile, they mention that the latest update will contain features like Night Shift, improved 3D touch feature, and tweaks to the core apps, which include Notes and Health. The Night Shift mode changes the intensity of the blue light coming from the display screen to help users sleep and feel comfortable when using the iPhone, iPad, or iPod at night.

It is also good to remember that this update will only be available for certain iPhone, iPad, and iPod models. For the iPhone models, the ones that are compatible with the update are from the recent models, namely the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and to the oldest model being the iPhone 4s. For the iPad, the models are iPad Pro, iPad Air and Air 2, iPad 3rd Gen and 4th Gen, iPad 2 and iPad mini, and their versions of mini 2, mini 3, and mini 4. Finally, for the iPod, only the 5th-generation and 6th-generation are compatible.

Of course, there are users who are excited and eager to update their Apple products immediately, but those users have to calm down for a bit and follow certain tips as to avoid any problems when the update hits the public. In a report by Zdnet, they shared what users can do to prepare for the update. They suggest backing up your data because the initial update is not clean as a whistle and will be filled with bugs. They also shared that it might be a good time to clean unused apps as to have a smooth installation of the update. Importantly, those who have jailbreak Apple products must hold on until there is indeed a jailbreak version of the update.

Till then, follow the suggested tips and patiently wait for the official announcement by Apple.
