iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 rumors roundup: New leaked photos; October release date

Leaked images of Apple's rumored upcoming products, the iPhone6, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, have been spotted featuring Touch ID sensors.
The Cupertino-based firm is set to bring the Touch ID feature already found on iPhone 5s to its next devices.
The image appearing online showing Apple's alleged upcoming devices, featuring an embedded round home button, which reminds of the button found on iPhone 5S.
The leaked picture comes from Apple Club, a Taiwanese reseller. Mac Rumors first spotted the image.
Apple's Touch ID is a fingerprint sensor found inside the Home button of iPhone 5S. It is used to unlock the device and approve buys from online stores like App, iBooks and iTunes.
The Touch ID has a 360-degree readability, which makes it possible for users to record their fingerprints in any position – whether it is landscape, portrait or even using multiple fingerprints. The variant on the iPhone 5S is scratch-resistant, and partly made from sapphire.
The position of the power button on the leaked devices' right panel jibes with the expectation of the next Apple mobile units to position the power button on the right panel, and not on the top, as in current generation iPhones.
With the first iPad Mini now being sold at discounted prices, many believe the arrival of the iPad Mini 3 is imminent. The iPad Mini 3 is rumored to come with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, waterproof feature, A8 processor and iOS 8.
The iPad Mini 3 is speculated to be released in October, along with iPad Air 2 and other new devices; the last quarter of the year being Apple's usual big-launch window, just in time for the holidays.
