iPhone 7, 7S, and Apple Watch 2 release date: all set for a September launch?

(Apple)The iPhone 6 and 6S. It is speculated that the upcoming iPhone 7 will be launched this September.

This year's Worldwide Developers Conference held in San Francisco mainly focused on Apple's latest software. Fans were left quite disappointed since they were expecting that the company would be presenting such devices like the much-hyped iPhone 7 and the Apple Watch 2. However, many avid Apple fanatics are now assuming that these overdue devices might see the light of day come September.

The above-mentioned devices have been the constant topic among tech enthusiasts since their respective predecessors came out years back.

Moreover, the iPhone 7 is speculated to be just like a revamped version of the current iPhone 6. There was even a leaked video that is believed to have been uploaded from China that shows an alleged iPhone 7, and true to what was mentioned earlier, it seems that the upcoming phone may have subtle changes to it if it really was the iPhone 7. As per the short clip, it's almost identical to its predecessor but differed with its antenna design. The camera lens was a bit enlarged, not to mention the absence of an audio connector that further strengthen early speculations that the next flagship phone from Apple will no longer have the said component and would be eventually swapped with a pair of wireless EarPods.

Having mentioned these, it is also speculated that better specifications and higher camera resolution might be reserved for the bigger iPhone 7S, rendering the iPhone 7 a mere entry-level handset of the company.

(Apple)Inset is the current Apple Watch. Rumor has it that the company might be releasing a luxury edition of the yet to be announced Apple Watch 2.

Meanwhile, the Cupertino-based tech manufacturer might do the same with their Apple Watch 2. It's a fact that Apple recently rolled out at this year's WWDC the timepiece's latest operating system which was the watchOS 3, but no Apple Watch 2 was in sight during the event. Nonetheless, the watch is rumored to bear a camera since the company has filed for a patent last year for the watch's component. The Apple Watch 2 might also release some sort of a luxury edition of the watch in which prices of the said variant may cost tens of thousands since it was reported that Apple will be using rare metals for that version of the Apple Watch 2.
