iPhone 7 Plus rumors, specs, news: Next iPhone rumored to come with larger battery life and 256 GB internal memory

Many fans were surprised by the buffed up 128 GB internal memory of the iPhone 6s Plus. However, it seems like Apple is planning to push the storage capacity even further as a recent rumor coming from the Chinese publication site, MyDrivers, suggests that the iPhone 7 Plus will feature a much larger 256 GB storage, which is actually double the size of the 6s Plus.

There is no word yet, though, coming from the Cupertino-based manufacturer regarding this matter so it is highly advisable for the fans to consider this as mere speculation for now until proven otherwise.

However, if the rumors turn out to be accurate, this will certainly give users of the future phone more room storage; whether it's for Apps or the videos they will take using the iPhone 7's camera, which was previously rumored to come with upgraded camera specs, according to Mac World.

The report then continued to note that the iPhone 7 Plus will also go through some changes in the battery aspect. It was stated there that the future handset will sport a much larger 3,100mAh battery capacity, as opposed to the 2,750mAh for the current iPhone 6s Plus.

As for the other details for the future handset, the source has added that the iPhone 7 Plus, and its classic iPhone 7 version, will sport a screen size of 5.5-inch and 4.7-inch, respectively, which is another difference for the two variants unlike the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus sporting the same screen of 4.7-inch.

Meanwhile, other rumors have emerged claiming that Apple might apply the OLED technology on their future handset's screen thanks to the deal the Cupertino-based manufacturer made with Samsung and LG. However, reports have suggested that this new feature will most likely come for the later versions of the upcoming handset, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, specifically the S version of these two flagships.
