iPhone 7 news: Next Apple device rumored to come with wireless Beats earphones to compensate for lack of headphone jack

The recent circulating rumors have strongly suggested that Apple is now removing the headphone jack on their upcoming handset, iPhone 7. However, it appears like there is a follow up on that, which now suggests that the Cupertino-based manufacturer is in development of new wireless Beats earbuds to go with the next iPhone, according to a report from 9to5Mac.

The report then continued to note that this new earpiece is said to be similar to Motorola's Hint Headset, which is also identical in concept to Bragi's Dash headphones that were showcased during the recent Consumer Electronics Show, or commonly referred to as CES.

In terms of features, though, 9to5Mac reports that the wireless Beats earphones for iPhone 7 will come with a noise-cancelling microphone, and the ability to answer phone calls using Siri without the in-line remote for its microphone.

If this turns into fruition, though, this could pose as a potential problem to iPhone users who frequently use the headset. It would need constant charging and according to the source, the wireless Beats earbuds will only last for at least four hours. However, as a solution, though, it was reported that the device will come with a charging case for the headset.

Meanwhile, other rumors have suggested that the next iPhone iteration will probably come with a much slimmer body compared to its predecessor. In addition, Apple is planning to include a Lightning port for the handset, which is going to be one of the two primary ways to connect the headset to the iPhone 7 with Bluetooth as a secondary option.

Apple's iPhone 7 is expected to be released this coming Fall, which is somewhere around September or December 2016.

However, since nothing has been officially confirmed yet, it would be ideal for fans to take these circulating rumors with a tiny pinch of salt for now and consider it as a mere speculation until proven otherwise.
