LG V10 vs Galaxy Note 4: LG device is costlier but has better features

LG decided to introduce yet another phablet with unique design recently in the form of the V10, but it is clear that when it comes to the phablet market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from last year is still quite popular. Here is how these devices fare in a comparison.
Design
The standout feature in the LG V10 is its second screen that lies above the main screen and displays contacts, notifications, and favorite apps. Importantly, it always remains on even when the main screen is not active and so users can save battery life by just glancing at it. As for the build of the device, it has steel frame and textured silicon its back panel. There is a fingerprint scanner on its rear and it comes in white, black, two shades of blue and beige. Coming to the Note 4, it has a metal frame but its back panel is made of soft pleather and it has an S Pen stylus which makes writing and drawing on the screen much easier. It also has a fingerprint scanner but is incorporated into the home button and it comes in black, gold, white, and pink.
Display
On the LG V10, the main screen measures 5.7 inches and it is an IPS LCD version with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 515 pixels per inch. As for the secondary screen, it measures 2.1 inches with a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. Coming to the Note 4, it has a super AMOLED screen measuring 5.7 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 515 pixels per inch.
Specs
In terms of hardware, the Note 4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, coupled with a CPU consisting of four cores clocked at 2.7 GHz and an Adreno 420 GPU. As for the LG V10, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, coupled with a hexa-core CPU comprised of four cores clocked at 1.44 GHz and two cores clocked at 1.82 GHz along with an Adreno 418 GPU.
Memory
The microSD slot on the Note 4 supports up to 128 GB of external storage, while the version on the LG V10 supports up to 2TB. As for RAM, the device from LG is ahead with 4 GB while the Note 4 has 3 GB.
Price
In terms of price, the LG V10 is expected to have a price tag of $650 while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 costs around $550 to $685.
