After the announcement of a season 2 for the widely received game "Life is Strange" was announced, players have been anticipating news about its release date. However, when that will happen remains a speculation. There have been interviews, however, with the Dontnod Entertainment founder Alain Damasio and the game's directors Michel Koch and Barbet that gives players a glimpse of what to expect.

"Life is Strange" is a joint venture of Dontnod and Square Enix where the former is the developer and the latter, the publisher.

Damasio was interviewed by Alchimy where he revealed to have also been a script doctor to "Life is Strange." In that interview, he revealed that Dontnod will soon work on the sequel and he would be happy to help with the script again as well.

In a joint statement by Koch and Barbet, they said that they were surprised by the game's success and that they are glad to have reached a diverse market. They revealed that the game's plot has been decided on from the beginning but the installation of levels allowed them to improve each episode released in an interview with International Business Times.

"Life is Strange" centers on the main character Max who has the power to manipulate time. She discovers her ability after she forsees the coming of a tornado and the death of her friend Chloe who he saves from dying. She confides in her that she has power to go back in time and they begin their quest to look for Rachel.

The game is laid with choices, some of which could be emotional such as the choice between going back in time to save Chloe's father from the accident but in doing so, Chloe will be confined in a wheelchair.

Season 1 ends with Max's and Chloe's realization, that the only way to stop the tornado from coming, was to never save Chloe from dying.
