Apple has historically owned the month of September when it comes to releasing groundbreaking new products, and this year will be no different if rumors are to be believed, as Macbook Pro 2014 leads the tech giant's lineup of launches.

Industry pundits believe that Macbook Pro 2014 will be introduced to the market in September, and will be followed shortly by iPhone 6, iPad 6, iPad mini with retina display, new iMac and iWatch.

Apple Store has also extended special financing options for current Macbook models, spurring more rumors that a new version is soon underway.

Other brands have tried, but failed, to go head-to-head with the Macbook Pro Retina in the premium laptop segment.

Reports noted that the latest Macbook Pro 2014 will feature significant improvements such as a fanless design, new trackpad and Intel Broadwell chips.

In an exclusive interview with Reuters, Intel's Chief Executive Brian Krzanich confirmed that they will be shipping processors in time for the holidays.

"I can guarantee for holiday, and not at the last second of holiday," Krzanich said. "Back to school - that's a tight one. Back to school you have to really have it on-shelf in July, August. That's going to be tough."

The current Macbook Pro Retina sports over 4 million pixels in 13-inch display and 5 million pixels packed in a 15-inch screen, 2560 x 1600 resolution, IPS technology that provide 178-degree view of the entire screen, Intel Iris Pro graphics, runs on Core i5 to Core i7 processor, speeds up to 2.8GHz, up to 9-hour battery charge and 30-day standby time, improved flash performance of at least 60 percent versus previous Macbook Pro generation, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and more.

Perhaps the most remarkable of all is the Macbook Pro Retina display that reduces glare while maintaining sharp and crisp color, resulting in impressive quality.
