Apple fans have been looking forward to the release of the new MacBook Pro that's been rumored to have impressive specs. But more than that, the device is said to not only carry improved features but will also be cheaper compared to the older models.

Although Apple has not confirmed the release of a MacBook Pro 2016, many experts believe that the arrival of a new laptop is in the horizon due to the price cuts done on the older versions.

Prices for older models of MacBook Pro have been slashed to as low as $300. This drop in the price tag also sparked speculations that the next MacBook Pro will be a lot cheaper compared to the current model.

The next laptop is also rumored to be unveiled at the 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Apple is expected to give more details about the MacBook Pro 2016 in the said event.

At this point, what the 2016 MacBook Pro can bring to the table is based on speculations. Various reports claim that the new laptop will come in two variants – a 13-inch and a 15-inch model. The machine will reportedly run on an Intel Skylake processor, which is a significant upgrade from the current model that runs on Haswell and Broadwell processors. Along with this new processor is the promise of a more powerful battery life, since the chipset can help in that field.

Also, the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 is said to offer support for USB-Type C and will also have Thunderbolt 3 for improved speed of data transfers.

By the looks of it, MacBook Pro 2016 has top-of-the-line specs, and if rumors are true, will be an affordable gadget from Apple. Then again, as interesting as all these speculations may seem, they need to be taken with a pinch of salt until Apple clears up the rumors by giving its official statement.
