(Apple)MacBook Pro 2016 could arrive to refresh the lineup in March

As Apple's much rumored March event continues to be discussed, it has become apparent that a number of devices are expected to release during it. After multiple rumors about a smaller 4 inch iPhone 5se launching now another has pointed towards the arrival of the new MacBook Pro 2016.

Commenting on the rumor about the MacBook Pro 2016, MacRumors states that it has long been expected that the laptop will be released with Intel's new Skylake processors. It adds that the latest rumors seem to corroborate this and point towards the 13-inch MacBook Pro going into production sometime in late March.

As for when the MacBook Pro 2016 models would be unveiled, all indicators are pointing towards the March event which has been rumored for a while. However, as of now Apple has not made the event official and all that people have been discussing are rumors. According to the rumors, Apple is planning to refresh the iPad Air lineup with a third generation device, and add the iPhone 5se to the smartphone lineup. The Apple Watch is also set to get new models during the March event and it could come with a FaceTime camera and new straps.

However, some rumors have been indicating that Apple will push the 13-inch MacBook Pro later on in the year so that is arrives during WWDC. As for the bigger 15 model of the MacBook Pro it could arrive after WWDC is over and done with. Last year the 13 inch MacBook Pro arrived with a Broadwell chip while the bigger 15-inch model had a Haswell chip.

Meanwhile Intel has been churning out the Skylake processors and it announced it had versions for the 13 inch MacBook Pro in September 2015 and a few days ago announced it had chips that were suitable for the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro. This indicates that Apple is going to take advantage of these new chipsets and start rolling out the devices in the MacBook Pro 2016 lineup.
