Mass Effect 4 release date, news: game trailer and release date may come at upcoming E3 2015

(BioWare)

BioWare, creator of the successful RPG series, the "Mass Effect" trilogy has kept its plans for the next title a well-guarded secret and has divulged very few details about its features and release date, but has been inviting suggestions and ideas from fans on social media. Bioware creative director Mac Walters has been asking followers on Twitter what they wish to experience in the upcoming "Mass Effect 4." Walter's retweets and replies have led to details about the new title slowly trickling in via Twitter.

Bioware had earlier promised that "Mass Effect 4" would feature more interesting twists and a mature story as compared to "Mass Effect 3." It had stated that the new game would take place in a new galaxy and the original series star Shephard would not return. A senior development director of "Mass Effect 4" has also hinted that the game could be taken online and a multiplayer option that has never been seen before might be introduced. Bioware has also revealed that "Mass Effect 4" would be available exclusively for Xbox One and PS4, as dropping the older consoles would help it improve the gameplay of the new title.

For their part, followers of "Mass Effect 4" have tweeted that they want new features, a revamped system and exciting gameplay experience with more outfits and hair styles, space plastic surgery, side missions, and other features to be added to the upcoming title.

Based on Walters' response to the suggestions of followers on Twitter, Bioware could consider incorporating some of the ideas "Mass Effect 4," including the need for side missions that are not resonating and have their own evolving stories, more galactic mysteries to investigate, like Leviathan, and allowing players to alter their appearance after the initial character creation screen.

Bioware has not yet released any cinematic trailer of "Mass Effect 4" and fans are hoping that the developer will reveal a demo of the game and announce its official release date at the upcoming E3 2015.
