Hideo Kojima confirms that his team is currently busy recording the voices for the upcoming 'Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain.'

This affirmation hints that the game might come out sooner than expected as it is already at the polishing stage.

Konami Digital Entertainment, publisher of Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, has yet to announce the official game release date, but rumors are keen to point out it will be launched within the year.

Kojima presented a 30-minute gameplay preview of MGS V: Phantom Pain in a closed-door session at the last Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

The clip showed off Snake walking around the base, Big Boss, Ocelot and a several instances of Snake's trademark cardboard box stealth.

The game excites fans of the series with its open world setting, real-time weather backdrop, unparalleled strategic freedom, addition of various modes of transportation, dynamic CQC, realistic passage of time, redefined "tactical espionage" and deeper stealth action.

After watching the gameplay trailer, famous personalities are all praises for Kojima and his team.

Pacific Rim and Pans Labyrinth Director Guillermo del Toro said, "Kojima-San remains a massive inspiration for me and METAL GEAR continues to deliver the edgy, vital, jaw-dropping world and feel that we have come to expect but it pushes the envelope every single time. It is a window into the future of the medium and its breathless narrative and artistic expansion. Amazing!"

X-Men and Spider Man producer Avi Arad was raving about the depth of the storyline:

"Although cleverly disguising the story and therefore making the trailer enticing, Mr. Kojima makes sure to include enough visuals to make us comfortable that we are in for a new Metal Gear experience. For me, the sight of the Diamond Dogs and Snake putting the ashes on his face with multiple urns make me believe that a lot of history is going to be dealt with," he commented.

Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain will be released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
