Perhaps next to playing something new, the good thing about new video game releases is discovering things hidden by developers either for their own enjoyment or for players to really uncover. With "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" fresh off the racks, some have already discovered at least four Easter Eggs in it. What are those?

The 11th "Metal Gear" and fifth "Metal Gear Solid" title shipped to retailers and gamers at the start of this month. It being just a few days old does not stop its gamers from already spotting the many hidden wonders the game has to offer. IGN has listed at least four Easter eggs, which those who have the title, as well as those who intend to buy it, can spot for themselves.

Easter eggs for "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" start pouring in as early as the Prologue. The first of those is a self-proclaiming "Kojima Productions" flyer tacked to a bulletin board. It even includes the booth number, CP 2308, that the developer was assigned at the GDC 2013 recruitment booth. The said bulletin board can be spotted right after the first Man on Fire encounter. Gamers can easily see the flyer by using the railing to the left and walking past the bulletin board.

The other Easter surprise is something really nice, being a Solid Snake skin and all. Those who played the prologue, "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes," can unlock many R&D rewards, such as a polygon Solid Snake skin, by finishing the Deja Vu mission.

Celebrating birthdays are also more fun with "Phantom Pain." At the start of the game, gamers will have to input their birthdate. This is not only to ensure that players are of the right age but also to secure a nice "birthday party" on the actual date of their birth. One can always hold off and wait for the surprise by entering their real birthdays or one can input the next calendar day to see the surprise. Birthday celebrants can simply visit the Mother Base to find the party, complete with cake and a cigar.

Speaking of the Mother Base, one can see safety posters scattered all around it. To see a nice surprise, just stand next to a poster and and wait till a green box falls on the Big Boss' head. There are a lot of these posters but the trick works only once per session.

Gamers who are excited to discover the Easter eggs and perhaps uncover more can simply play "Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain," which is available for the Sony PS3, PS4, Microsoft Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
