The media blackout for the health update of legendary Formula One racer, Michael Schumacher, is still ongoing. No word yet coming from the family on the current status of the racer. Meanwhile, Pope Francis has recently offered his prayer for Schumacher after FIA president Jean Todt paid him a visit to show him the road safety campaign called #SaveKidsLives.

"I think it made a big impression on him," Todt told Radio Vatican via Yahoo! News. "We informed him that 500 children die on roads every day and that another 20,000 are injured every day."

Aside from the ad campaign, Todt had also discussed to the pontiff the current health status of Schumacher. The FIA President then added on his statement, "I asked him if he wanted to say a prayer and he happily accepted."

Despite the continuous monitor for his health, which cost at £115,000 per week as reported by Express, Schumacher still remains as one of the richest personalities in Switzerland.

According to Autoweek, Schumacher currently has an estimated fortune that is said to be around $700 to $800 million, which mostly consists of housing properties that are worth millions of dollars.

Meanwhile, Schumacher's wife, Corinna, has already sold the racer's private jet as well as their holiday home in Norway to pay for the 15 highly trained physicians who are currently monitoring Schumacher's health, around the clock, Express added on their report. She had also taken over her husband's business affairs on his absence.

There hasn't been any update yet regarding Schumacher's health status since everything is being kept private due to the media blackout. So for now, it is best for fans to just wait for more news coming from the family and hope that the legendary, seven-time Formula One World Champion racer's health improves.
