Microsoft's Surface Pro is one line of devices that a lot of people anticipate and follow because of its features. Luckily, Microsoft remains determined to ensure their devices keep abreast of the latest upgrades every time, thereby ensuring that every release of the Surface Pro is better than the previous one.

This was clearly seen in the Surface Pro 3; it is a testament to the line that despite heavy competition, the device still stood out not only from the older version of the Surface Pro but from the rest of the tablets and laptops that came out last year.

This year, it is Microsoft Surface Pro 4's turn. A lot of people have their eyes on this product as they strongly believe that it could give its competitors a run for their money.

Reports have it that the Redmond based company is out to dazzle with its new software and chips that promises an amazing performance and irresistible features.

Based on gathered reports and the latest trends, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 might go with a much larger 14-inch display, maybe as a way of facing off against Apple's iPad Pro. Those who are not keen on such a large size will be happy to know that the Surface Pro 4 also comes in 12-inches.

But what intrigues people are the Surface Pro 4's storage options. It will have the usual storage options that run from 64 GB to 500 GB, but the company might pull off a surprise in the form of a 1 TB hybrid with a 16 GB RAM.  And since the Surface Pro 4 will be arriving with Windows 10, it is expected to carry all the new upgrades like the voice and text-powered assistant Cortana, a new browser and X-box Streaming.

Now the only thing that geeks and techies want to know is its release date. Its predecessor, the Surface Pro 3, was launched June 2014 but rumor has it that the Surface Pro's latest iteration might be headed for an October launch.
