Microsoft's wearable device, the Microsoft HoloLens, is no doubt one of the most innovative gadgets in today's time. It can be used for academics, like in the field of medicine as said on a previous Ecumenical News report or aid astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Moreover, this headset is also going to be used for gaming — among many other potential possibilities — as Microsoft recently showed the demo for "Project X-Ray," a game specifically made for the HoloLens.

According to PC Gamer, Microsoft unveiled the game that runs on the company's innovative headset. Unlike "Minecraft," this game is more action-packed and features a new kind of technology called "wearable hologram."

This "wearable hologram" is included in-game. The HoloLens then projects the "equipment" as if the player is actually wearing it.

The beauty of this presentation, as explained on stage, is it is untethered. This means the player can freely move anywhere inside the room and the robot enemies also interact with the player's movements, as shown in the video above.

There are so many cool aspects that "Project X-Ray" possesses like the voice command to change the player's weapon. By saying "vortex mode," the weapon on the player's hand will change right in front of him.

With all that in mind, tech fans are probably excited for the release of the Microsoft HoloLens but, unfortunately, given how amazing this gadget is, PC Gamer reports that the Dev Kit for the headset is going to be available with a price tag of $3,000. The HoloLens is expected to be available by the first quarter of 2016.
