Milwaukee Bucks trade rumors 2016: Jabari Parker leaving team for Giannis Antetokounmpo's growth?

The Milwaukee Bucks is among the teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA) that boast a young and talented core. But to give way for a potential franchise star, they might be forced to deal away one budding talent and this could be Jabari Parker.

Milwaukee is a young squad which has already shown the league what it can do during the 2014-15 season, when it finished sixth in the Eastern Conference and booked a ticket to the playoffs.

Unfortunately, last season's campaign did not go the same way for the Bucks but great things are still expected from them in the 2016-17 season.

When talking about the Bucks, the name that stands out the most is the "Greek Freak" Giannis Antetokounmpo. The versatile 6-foot-11 player is seen by many as the franchise's future star.

Perhaps following Antetokounmpo on that path is Parker, who bounced back last season after his rookie year ended abruptly because of an injury.

However, others believe that for Antetokounmpo to fully reach his potential and be a superstar, Milwaukee must focus on developing him, while having a solid supporting cast at the same time.

This could lead to the Bucks dealing away Parker to acquire players who will complement Antetokounmpo's ascension to stardom.

Why Parker? Because he is young and there is a huge room for improvement. He is also one of the players on Milwaukee's roster that has the best trade value.

Parker can be shipped to a rebuilding franchise where he may be the star or to a contending team that is hoping to add youth to its roster.

It is nonsense if the Bucks are searching for a young player/s in exchange for Parker, so it is expected that if he is shopped, what they want is a star player or a quality veteran who can help Antetokounmpo and the team to thrive.
