'Neverwinter' release date coming for PS 4 and it's free-to-play on July 19

(arcgames)"Neverwinter" will now be playable on a PlayStation 4 console this July 19.

The massive multiplayer online role-playing game from developer Cryptic Studios will soon be arriving on the PlayStation 4 console. Reports are suggesting that "Neverwinter" will be available to PS4 users this July 19.

The game will be set in the Forgotten Realms' town of "Neverwinter" where avid fans will be hacking and slashing their way against hordes of skeletons and weird-looking creatures that seem to be looking for someone or something in their once beautiful city.

The players may choose one of the eight types of characters in the upcoming title. Moreover, fans will be getting the whole package of the game up until its recent content. The game now has a total of nine expansions including the 8 aforementioned playable character classifications. However, it's yet to be confirmed what will the eight classes be, but it's more likely that the eight classes might include a weapon fighter, a cleric, a guardian fighter, a wizard, a hunter ranger, a warlock, a rogue and a paladin.

In addition, the game will be free of charge and it can be also played even though the gamer's not yet subscribed to the PlayStation Plus program. However, avid fans who want to have the game ahead of the others can purchase the so-called "Neverwinter" Head Start welcome package that will be offered to fans one week earlier from its unveiling. Not only will fans be able to play the game early, players will also get a lot of good stuff that will give them a little boost at the beginning of the game. For a price of $20, fans will get to have the Onyx weapon set, enchanted keys amounting to 20 packs, and an Onyx horse mount.

The game was originally released for PC three years ago and since then has received positive reviews from game critics and players alike.

As reported earlier, "Neverwinter" will be out for PlayStation 4 players on July 19.
