After the release of three new devices from Motorola, which was formerly owned by Google, attention has turned toward what smartphone the search engine has in store.

Rumors have been pointing toward the arrival of the Nexus 5 2015, for a few months now, and it appears that the device could be released pretty soon as case manufactures have reportedly already received designs of the device.

The most recent leak pertaining to the Nexus 5 emerged from a case manufacturer, which revealed some details about the back panel of the device. Among the important information included was that the device could come with a 3D camera as an opening for one was seen on the back of the case.

Along with the hole to accommodate the camera, there appears to be a place for a physical button on the case, and there are speculations that a fingerprint sensor would also be integrated into it.

While the leaked case hinted on a few design details, news about the device's hardware have been scarce.

As for whether LG is indeed manufacturing the upcoming Nexus 5 2015, there is still no confirmation, but previous rumors claimed that the company is working on two devices — the LG G4 Pro and the speculated, Nexus 5.

Aside from that, earlier this month, specs of a device reportedly being worked on by LG leaked, which many assumed was the Nexus 5 2015. However, others pointed out that the device appeared to be running on Android Lollipop and not the Android M — the OS the Nexus 5 is expected to run on. If the Nexus 5 2015 does launch along with the new Android M operating system, then it could be released sometime in the fall.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors which claim that Google might release two Nexus 5 phones this year — one manufactured by Huawei and another created by LG.
