When it comes to whale sized phablets, the Nexus 6 from Google had an edge over others last year, however, it now faces a tough competitor in the form of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which has a uniquely curved screen. Here is how the two devices compare.

Design

The S6 Edge Plus is designed to impress and it does so at first glance thanks to its dual curved edges on the left and right of its screen. The software for the curved edge has been improved and now, the Apps Edge menu can display five favorite apps, and the next menu can display five important contacts. Users can also expand each contact in an OnCircle menu on the main screen and use it to get in touch with them faster. As for the build of the device, it has a metal frame and front and back panels made of Gorilla Glass 4. Furthermore, it also comes with a fingerprint sensor. As for colors, the S6 Edge Plus comes in black, white, gold and silver.

The device from Google, which is manufactured by Motorola, also has a metal frame but its back panel is made of curved plastic, which comes with a dimple containing the emblem of its manufacturer. The Nexus 6 has two color options, blue and white.

Display

The display on the Nexus 6 is bigger but it has the same resolution as its competitor.
