Details about what the Nintendo NX might look like remain scarce, but game titles intended for the upcoming console are slowly being revealed.

"Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time" has been officially confirmed to be an NX title. The news came from game series creator Yuji Horii during a round table discussion with Nintendo Dream (via Gematsu) for its October issue. Horii has confirmed that "Dragon Quest XI" is already in development for NX.

As reported by Gematsu, Horii mentioned last year that the game will have an NX version but developer Square Enix made it clear that, at that time, it was just being considered. With this latest confirmation, there are now five games intended for the NX.

NX's tentative launch date will be on March 2017, while "Dragon Quest XI's" pegged release date in Japan is on May 27, 2017. A North America release date has yet to be announced. The game is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS and NX platforms simultaneously, with Horii adding, "Spoilers will emerge if we release one version earlier."

Other games already confirmed to be NX titles are "Just Dance 2017," "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," a "Sonic" game for 2017 and "Dragon Quest X."

As for the console, there's not much known about the NX as Nintendo has maintained its silence on the matter. The latest rumor, however, comes from 4Chan claiming that the device will actually be called Nintendo Focus and will release on March 10, 2017. Considering the site didn't mention its source, this piece of information could be a fake.

The Nintendo NX is also rumored to be a handheld device that features detachable controllers. Patent application files have also made the rounds online, backing up the rumors about this particular feature. Fans are already anxious to know more about the NX, but they need to stay tuned for more details. Since the NX will have a March 2017 launch, Nintendo might just reveal the details anytime soon.
