There is a big likelihood that Nokia Lumia 830 is the one being referred to as "Tesla," according to rumors.

The Verge initially reported that the codename Tesla is for an "affordable high-end smartphone" that is Nokia Lumia 730, and that Superman is instead the designated moniker of Nokia Lumia 830.

However, WP Central thinks otherwise. In a recent article, they revealed photos of a bright green Lumia 730, which is set to arrive in the coming months.

Meanwhile, WP Dang has posted images of what is thought to be the Lumia 830, sporting an aluminum frame and polycarbonate chassis.

Rumors have it that Lumia 830 will carry a PureView camera, which uses Carl Zeiss optical lenses.

However, it is not likely that this model will be equipped with a 41MP camera since this is supposed to be a mid-range smartphone.

Windows Phone 8.1, a revolutionary operating system that features the potential Siri-killer, Cortana, will power all handsets coming out of Nokia's turf moving forward.

There have been reports that a McLaren flagship phone will also be introduced, and that this one will have 3D Touch features, while the Superman handset will be the low-end "Rock" device.

Microsoft has yet to see profits materializing from its recently aquired Nokia arm.

However, Microsoft is positive that the unit will break even in two years and stop losses as the company announced massive job cuts last week affecting Chinese employees.

"The expense guidance around Nokia was much better than feared," said Daniel Ives, an analyst at FBR Capital Markets. "While there is still some heavy lifting ahead, it appears brighter days are on the horizon for Microsoft after a decade of pain and frustration."

Microsoft is planning to release three more Windows Phone 8.1 devices before the year ends.
