Reporting on the arrival of the four Notebook 9 laptops, ZDNet states that even while the demand for these ultra light offerings has not been heavy, it has not stopped Samsung from getting new offerings into the market. Importantly, it goes on to add that Samsung has stuck to the overall concept of the Ultrabook and so it is not surprising that the four in the Notebook 9 range are "super thin," with the smallest version tipping the scales at 1.9 pounds.

Samsung announced these devices during CES 2016 and now it has made the pricing details available along with the actual devices in its stores. At the lower end is the 13.3-inch model with a price of $999 and it comes with a 1080p display. As for its hardware, it has the Intel Core i5 6th generation processor and its battery is able to last for 10 hours. The slightly bigger model with a 15-inch display comes with a better Core i7 processor and is $200 costlier having a price tag of $1199.

As for the Notebook 9 Spin, its gets its name from the ability of its display to spin around and then be folded flat onto the keyboard. This particular model has a $1199 price tag and it has a 13.3-inch display with resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. Its processor is a Core i7 version and its battery allows it to be used for 7.3 hours.

The costliest model among the four Ultrabooks is the Notebook 9 Pro and it comes with a 15.6-inch display and a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The processor is a Core i7 version and it is priced at $1399.
