'Persona 5' DLC news: Newly released videos show off downloadable costumes featured in earlier 'Persona' titles

(Persona 5 official web site)'Persona 5' set to be released in North America on Feb. 14

Plenty of downloadable content (DLC) costumes are already available for "Persona 5," and for those who haven't seen them just yet, Atlus is now showcasing them in new videos.

The videos have been shared via the game's official PR Twitter account.

The first video shows off the costume set inspired by "Revelations: Persona."

As Siliconera reported, an issue with this particular DLC costume set led to Atlus making it temporarily unavailable, but fans don't have to worry as it will be released again on Nov. 2, and the best part is that it will now be free.

Next up, players can also take a look at the costumes that were based on the outfits worn by the protagonists of "Persona 2" and "Persona 3."

DLC costume sets inspired by the characters who appeared in "Persona 4," "Persona 4 Arena Ultimax" and "Persona 4 Dancing All Night" are also previewed in the new videos.

The last video gives "Persona 5" players a better look at the DLC outfits originally worn by the characters in "Catherine."

Notably, all the DLC costume sets also come with special BGM tracks that should give long-time fans of the franchise some good doses of nostalgia.

Players interested in getting these DLC costume sets can purchase them for 800 Yen each, as noted on the game's official website.

Apart from the costumes, examples of DLC that are currently available for the game also include Personas that appeared in earlier "Persona" games.

Special character-specific themes are also offered as DLC for the game, allowing fans to customize their consoles to help them get into the game even further.

At this point, it's still unclear if these currently available DLC items will also be made available to players in North America.

While the game is already out in Japan, fans in North America will still have to wait until Valentine's Day next year to try "Persona 5" out for themselves.
