'Persona 5' Special Stage confirmed for the Tokyo Game Show; new promotional poster released

Atlus seems to be keeping their promise with long-time fans of the "Persona" game series. They had previously promised that the game would see a 2015 release date. However, months went by without any official announcement from the company.
Now, it seems that Atlus is gearing up for the eventual release of the highly-anticipated game, "Persona 5," and fans couldn't be any happier.
The launch of the official Tokyo Game Show website last Sept. 10 revealed that Atlus will indeed present the upcoming "Persona 5" game during the convention, scheduled to happen on Sept. 17 to Sept. 20.
Atlus also announced that they will host the "ATLUS PRESENTS PERSONA SPECIAL STAGE" Tokyo Game Show 2015 event on Sept. 19. The event is an hour long, starting at 2:30 p.m. JST (1:30 a.m. ET).
The "Persona" Special Presentation will feature appearances from Japanese music artists that have previously contributed to the "Persona" series. The roster includes Yumi Kawamura, Lotus Juice, Shihoko and DJ WAKA.
"Persona Stalker Club" hosts, Tomomi Isomura and Mafia Kajita, are also featured guests. "Persona Stalker Club" is a variety program focused on the "Persona" game series. Finally, Chiaki Matsuzawa will host the "Atlus Presents Persona Stage" event.
After the event announcement, a "Persona 5" promotional poster was also leaked by a Japanese retail store, Genki. The poster was initially uploaded through Twitter, but has now been deleted. The poster can still be viewed via Persona Central.
The "Persona 5" poster has "WANTED" emblazoned on top, while four characters, the Protagonist, Anne Takamaki, Ryuji Sakamoto and Morgana, are featured in the center. It also features the tagline "Take Your Heart."
The poster seems to be the first marketing effort for Atlus and "Persona 5."
According to the poster, there will be a campaign event called "Hunt for the Phantom Thieves!" which is scheduled for Sept. 17 to Sept. 19. In the span of three days, fans will scour two stores in Wakayama in search for the Phantom Thief. According to the now deleted tweet, more details about this upcoming campaign event will be released next week.
With the new announcements from Atlus, it now seems more and more likely that they will finally be releasing an official release date for the game.
"Persona 5" is set to be released later this year for the PS4 and the PS3 consoles.
