'Pokemon Go' release date window for 2016 still intact as beta testing and wait for specific arrival date continues

"Pokemon Go" has been on the minds of fans all over the world ever since it was first announced, and while more details about it have been made available since, an exact release date is still lacking at this point.

The good news for Pokemon fans is that nothing significant has seemingly changed thus far when it comes to the timeline of the game.

Checking the game's official web site reveals that "Pokemon Go" is still due out in 2016, and that it will still be coming to Android and iOS devices.

On top of that, it also appears as though beta testing for the game has been going smoothly as well.

Since beta tests have thus far been limited to just a few regions, there are still fans from all over the world that remain largely unaware of what the game will be like.

Still, at least when it comes to beta testing, the lack of big news may not be such a bad thing since it could indicate that development continues to move forward as expected.

Interestingly enough, there may actually be big news pertaining to "Pokemon Go" that will be coming out soon.

Specifically, the news may even be announced as early as this Thursday.

According to Neurogadget, after previously releasing news about the game on March 3 and April 7, another announcement may be coming this week as developers continue to follow that five-week interval between releasing updates.

News coming out this week isn't exactly guaranteed however and some fans even reportedly expected the new details to come out last week.

Hopefully, more news about "Pokemon Go" will indeed be coming out soon, and though it's a long shot at this point, maybe the next announcement can even give fans the specific release date they have been longing for.
