As the commercial release date of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire draws near, a new demo version has been spotted in news leaks around the gaming community.

"The Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version is set briefly in Mossdeep City. This demo has you select a starter Pokémon between Grovyle, Combusken & Marshtomp. From there, you travel throughout Mossdeep City, finding trainers and even encountering both Team Aqua and Team Magma admins in a nearby cave," Serebii reported.

Continuing, the report says, "This allows you to encounter various Pokémon including Loudred, Nosepass, Linoone & Slakoth, all of which originated in Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire. The demo will culminate in the obtaining of a Mega Evolution, one which has never been seen outside of this demo before now. They also wish for you to play the demo every day, saying something special will happen if so."

Unlike the typical demos players can download through Nintendo eShop, this one would require special codes that will be revealed during specific events spread globally between October and November.

The Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo will be first previewed in Japan and parts of United Kingdom.

Unfortunately, there is no event scheduled for United States, but it is possible that there are codes embedded in pre-order channels.

The demo version, according to Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire's official website will extend unlimited playing time to fans, with special scenarios everyday.

The "flying" mechanic being part of the game is another feature that players can look forward to.

According to Siliconera, "You will be able to fly on both Pokémon in the games' overworld, and in the sky, you will encounter legendaries such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga and Palkia. Legendary Pokémon are found on islands that can only be found through areas in the sky."

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is scheduled to hit store shelves on a Nov. 21 release date for Nintendo 3DS.
