Pokemon Omega Ruby & Pokemon Alpha Sapphire tips: new Contrary Superior and Primary Reversion features

Pokemon fans will definitely get excited about the newest version of the Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire because it has new features that will make the game more interesting to gamers.

The Pokemon Omega Ruby & Pokemon Alpha Sapphire game, launched in November 2014, promises a whole new gaming experience for Pokemon lovers. Despite being a remake, this game will introduce new features to the game like the Mega Evolutions and Primal Reversion (based on the legendary Pokemon Groudon & Kyogre).

One of the notable improvements in this new game is the graphics. The Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has a fusion of the Pokemon X & Y 3D graphics as well as the colors gamers enjoyed in the first Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire version.

The games here have slightly different stories. You can still find Team Magma and Team Aqua. The inclusion of the new Primal Reversion feature raises the possibility of the game being expanded further.

So have you started playing?

If you're looking for Pokemons to use, Kotaku shares 7 of the handiest Pokemons.

  1. The Catcher – Breloom
  2. The Breeder – Ditto
  3. The Explorer – Sharpedo
  4. The Hatchers – Volcarona and TalonFlame
  5. The Money Maker – Smergle
  6. The EV Trainer - Tropius

The Contrary Serperior lets players reverse any status effects hitting the Pokemon. The Contrary ability will reverse the attacks on a player, giving players an advantage over their opponents.

This can be unlocked using these steps:

-       Download the game on the Nintendo 3D

-       Choose "Mystery Gift" on the main menu

-       Click "Receive Gift" and "Get with Code"

-       Type Pokemon497

The Contrary Serperior is available until November 2015, although at the moment, it's not yet clear if the offer will be available in places outside Japan.

To better prepare for challenges, players need to breed their Pokemons properly. To quickly and easily breed a Pokemon, players need to add Ditto with the ones they want to breed in One Day Care. Dittos can be found in some Mirage Spots or in players with Pokemon X & Y.

For those who want to get the Tyrunt Pokemon, one that has the Rock Head ability and one that's not obtained  in any other way, should participate in the Battle of Hoenn Competition, which runs from January 23 to 25 2015.
