'Pokemon GO' release date not fixed yet; Nov 19 sees arrival of real-life training and edutainment gym

Many a Pokemon fans have tagged the upcoming "Pokemon GO" as the game that they have all been waiting for, and understandably so given that the art of catching Pokemon will finally be captured in "real life." But with an unpinned release date, what is a fan to do now? Well wait. And also enjoy whatever may be the closest thing to the game that they may have at the moment.
"Pokemon GO" had been officially unveiled this September, making fans of the franchise go crazy at the prospect of having "real" Pokemons roam the Earth via an augmented reality mobile game. The concept for it started way back in 2013 and is being made possible now, following the technology developer Niantic did to its AR MMO title, "Ingress."
While "Pokemon GO" is as exciting as can be for all aspiring Pokemon trainers, they also know that capturing Pokemons can be serious business. And no one takes it more seriously than the Japanese. So for anyone who wishes to be a hundred percent ready for when Niantic and Nintendo finally roll out the game on mobile devices, a special gym will be opening in Osaka next month.
Pokemon EXPO Gym is technically an edutainment facility that's opening its doors on Nov. 19. According to the Japanese website Inside Games (as translated by Siliconera), the gym is the first of its kind and will give visitors advanced lessons on Pokemons and tips on maximising their abilities. Part of the program, they add, will have kids enjoying themselves and giving them opportunities to communicate with each other.
In creating both an education and entertainment facility, the gym will have different stops and training centres with their own stories to tell and abilities to teach. Different areas - some are even interactive! - may be accessed depending on the type of ticket a patron buys. Ticket for specific areas range between ¥400 to ¥600 ($3 to $5), which will buy visitors three to five minutes, depending on the area they visit.
