Konami Entertainment's upcoming football simulation game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (PES 2015) is reaping good reviews ahead of its release date next month as it "returns to its roots."

"We use extensive motion-capture systems to make the running smooth, but a lot is done by hand by our artists and animators," Konami's European head, Adam Bhatti, explains.

"The faces are all drawn by hand as this allows us greater accuracy. Similarly, we watch hundreds of hours of footage to recreate the skills and moves of players so they can be added to their in-game repertoire," Bhatti added.

The PES franchise dominated the previous decade, but the interest dwindled over the past few years as FIFA titles again managed to seize market supremacy.

However, the gaming community and media pundits are somewhat convinced that PES 2015 can reclaim its lost glory.

"Having played the PES 15 demo we believe the franchise is back on track with the FOX Engine," said Ashkan Khani of Air Herald.

"Perhaps where it counts the most in PES 15 is the gameplay, which brings back the uber sensitive and precision controls fans of the series love," he added.

Damien McFerran of Redbull praised the studio for value-added features apart from the stunning visual fidelity of the game.

"Konami hasn't focused solely on making sure this is the best-looking PES yet seen; there are enhancements under the hood which are sure to find favour with seasoned fans."

Meanwhile, IGN dropped one-liner "the beautiful game is back."

Those who will pre-order the game will receive bonus content, one player from UEFA Team of the Year, 10,000 recovery items and 10,000 game points.

PES 2015 is scheduled for commercial release date on Nov. 11 in the United States and Nov. 13 across Europe for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC.
