As companies prime its devices before the much-awaited IFA Consumer Electronics fair in Berlin, Samsung is reportedly releasing another flagship smartphone by way of Galaxy Note 4.

Two videos recently posted on Samsung's YouTube Channel are teasing fans around the world of an upcoming model that will be "your note for crafting" and "your note for handwriting".

The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be a high end device that will sport killer specs such as 5.7-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 16 MP rear-facing camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 450.

The stylus is also rumored to be making a comeback with an updated S Pen stylus for the new Galaxy Note.

Samsung recently unveiled Galaxy Alpha, which was initially thought to be the South Korean tech giant's bet to rival Apple iPhone 6.

However, news of a more powerful Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is convincing pundits that this flagship smartphone will in fact be the iPhone 6 killer.

Aside from smartphones, rumor mills also mentioned that Samsung will unwrap a new and improved smartwatch to pitch to the budding wearables market.

There is a load of burden riding into the lineup of new devices coming out of Samsung's territory.

It is no secret that the company has been suffering from profit loss quarter after quarter, due to a number of reasons.

Samsung is scheduled to hold its Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event on Sept. 3. Korea Times reported that a top-tier executive from one of the company's suppliers has confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be showcased on this occasion.

Meanwhile, arch nemesis Apple has confirmed a Sept. 9 event, which is likely to finally present iPhone 6 and iWatch to the world.

If these speculations are accurate, there is no doubt that September will be the grandest month of the year for technology.
