Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could follow the Note 5 in August

The last time the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 was mentioned, it was about the operating system (Android N) and that it would likely be out as early as August.

Other than that, other credible information has yet to come out as the Samsung Galaxy Note loyalists continue to troll the web on what the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will hopefully come out with.

To date, the rumors on the specs remain the same. It will reportedly be out with a 5.8-inch RGB AMOLED display, 4 GB of RAM (at the least), 128 GB of internal storage with microSD card support, S-Pen, 12 MP main camera and a 5 or 8 MP front-facing shooter.

As far as the outer design is concerned, there is no certainly right now on what mold it will come out with. Two potential concepts on the Galaxy Note 6 have emerged.

One is a concept that somehow draws it near to a potential similarity with the Sony Xperia series via Phones Review UK and the other involving a possible integration of the Galaxy Note 6 with a mobile/laptop hybrid via Experts Review UK.

The Sony Xperia render offers a more angled device that could come out, something that moves it away from the traditional curved make that the Samsung Galaxy S7 recently came out with. While the angular design makes it different from the usual concepts that Samsung has to offer, it will be interesting to see if Samsung is inclined to follow this route.

With regards to the laptop/mobile hybrid concept, such comes from an alleged patent that the Korean company has over at the US Patent & Trademark office.

The patent came out way back in May 2015 and shows a phablet slotted into a laptop located somewhere above the main keyboard. Paired with the angular model it may come out with, this could make sense for the Galaxy Note 6. Could Samsung be coming up with a handy mobile solution integrating laptops and smartphones as well?
