In addition, it is said that the Galaxy S8 might be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 processor. It's also speculated that since Android's new operating system, dubbed as the "Nougat' is looming, it is more likely that the next smartphone from Samsung will be carrying the new OS. However, it's not yet known what will be the phone's graphics processing unit. Such caliber from a phone will definitely require a high-performing GPU that has 4K and VR capabilities.

Furthermore, just like the upcoming phones from Samsung, there's a high probability that the Galaxy S8 will be fused with the USB Type-C port which will enable faster transmission of files, shorter charging time, and whatnot.

Meanwhile, Samsung has yet to confirm these speculations, but it is said that this next generation smartphone might be revealed to the public sometime next year.
