The next-gen tablets are now being unveiled one by one, and the latest one that has been revealed to the public, so far, is Apple's upgraded 9.7-inch iPad Pro device, which was first shown during the company's March "Let us loop you in" event. And because of that, many fans are now wondering which one is the best tablet: Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, Surface Pro 4, or iPad Pro?

Here are the specifications of the three tablets, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, Microsoft Surface Pro 4, and Apple's iPad Pro.

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, currently priced at $899.99:

According to the official product page, the Galaxy TabPro S is sporting a 12-inch screen with Quad HD resolution of 2,160 x 1,440. It is running on an Intel Dual Core M3 chipset and it is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of solid state drive, or commonly referred to as SSD. It has a battery capacity of 5,200 mAh, which is estimated to run for up to 10.5 hours.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4, priced at $899:

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is probably one of the most versatile tablets in the market today that can certainly mimic a true laptop. As detailed on the product's specification page, the gadget is sporting a 12.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2736 x 1824. Fans can choose from three different variants for its processor, the 6th-gen M3, i5, or 7, as well as its graphic cards Intel HD graphics 515, 520, or Iris — price may vary, of course, depending on the CPU and GPU combination. Its battery life is expected to run for 9 hours of video playback, presumably nonstop.

Apple 9.7 iPad Pro, currently priced at $997 as stated on PC World:

Apple's latest upgrade on its iPad Pro line of device is a bit surprising, to say the least. The tablet's screen size has been reduced to 9.7 inches with a display resolution of 2,048 x 1,536, as detailed on the official page. This new Apple tablet is set to run on the company's in-house chipset, the 64-bit A9X. As for its battery life, the Apple 9.7 iPad Pro is said to last for 10 hours of web surf, video playback, and music play.

Conclusion:

According to the benchmark test that PC World conducted, it appears like Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 has the upper hand when it comes to the performance aspect. In terms of pricing, all of these tablets fall into the same price range — with or without the add-ons.
