It is only less than a couple of days away from Samsung's "Unpacked 2015" event and leaks of their new phones, the Samsung Note 5 and Samsung S6 Edge , have been surfacing online. The recently revealed leaks suggest that the two devices will be unveiled at the upcoming event.

One of the new devices is reportedly veering away from the old leather back. According to Christian Today, the new Note 5 would be sporting a glass and metal back, which suggest that the new device would not have room for expanding its storage or even a changeable battery.

IB Times has also reported that the new Samsung Note 5 will still be sporting the same screen size display of 5.7 inches, which is also the rumored size of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge .

The report also suggested that the new Samsung Note was supposed to come in two versions — one with the codename Project Noble, which is rumored to be the Samsung note 5 variant with a flat display much like the Samsung Note 4 and the other under the codename Project Zero 2, which is rumored to have a curved screen like the Samsung S6 Edge. However, the company is rumored to have killed Project Zero 2.

The new smartphone is said to come with three storage space versions, 32, 64 and 128 GB. And unlike previous rumors about the Samsung Note 5 having a Type C port, the device will still be using the USB port.

Gizmodo has also suggested that the smartphone would still come with the popular stylus but it would have a spring-loaded holder for easier access. Its disappointing feature, however, would possibly be the battery which shrunk down to 3,000 mAh from the Samsung Note 4's 3,200 mAhh battery.

Samsung has neither confirmed nor denied the leaked rumors surrounding the Samsung Note 5. The new device will reportedly be unveiled on Aug. 13, along with the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge .
