United Front Games on Monday finally unveiled 'Triad Wars,' a new PC exclusive online game set in the Sleeping Dogs universe, while not yet providing a specific release date.

"I wanted to let you know that we will be unveiling the game on Monday! We are extremely excited to finally show you what we have been working on so stay tuned to this space!" community manager James Baldwin posted.

Baldwin added, "We also have an AMA on reddit scheduled for 12 P.M. PST on Tuesday. Talk to you soon!" 

Last Sept. 17, UFG welcomed Baldwin onboard to take care of community matters and engagements for Triad Wars:

"I know we've been tight-lipped over here about a few things, but we have some amazing news to share with you all — we just hired James Baldwin as the Community Manager for our upcoming title, Triad Wars. More information will be shared with you soon, so hang tight!"

Square Enix and United Front Games teased fans in October 2013 via an official blog post that said:

"Well, we're super-excited that it's another game based in the Sleeping Dogs universe, it's something we've wanted to do for ages, and we're very happy to be working with Square Enix again... but that's all we can give you for the time being – we'll have more information about what the game's going to be in 2014."

Sleeping Dogs was widely heralded as one of the best open world game in the recent past by video game pundits.

On game review aggregator Metacritic, the singleplayer Sleeping Dogs for PC has a rating of 81 out of the possible perfect score of 100.

"Square Enix and United Front Games pulled Sleeping Dogs from the brink of death, and what surprised me is just how good it turned out to be," a reviewer commented.
