Electronic Arts and DICE have recently announced another game mode in the much awaited game, "Star Wars: Battlefront." The new mode, dubbed as "Blast," is a death match mode where players will face each other and kill members of the opposing team as many and as fast as possible.

According to a report by GameSpot, the "Blast" multiplayer game mode of "Star Wars: Battlefront" is going to be a death match battle between the empire and the rebels. The two factions will be made up of 10 members each and in order for the team to win, they must make 100 kills, or at least have a leading kill number once the 10-minute timer runs out.

"One battle you'll be fighting within interior levels on Endor or Sullust. In the next battle, you might find yourselves among Tatooine's dusty canyons, or inside the undeniably cool Ice Caves on Hoth. My favorite is the verticality of Tatooine, fighting by the Sandcrawler," Lead Level Designer, Dennis Brännvall, said in the statement.

Brannvall continued to explain that players will be able to spot the difference between each mode in "Star Wars: Battlefront." He added, "Say you've just played Walker Assault mode on Hoth and then switched to Blast, still on Hoth. Thanks to variations in lighting and time of day, you'll definitely see a difference."

Unfortunately, as reported by GameSpot, in Blast, players will not be able to use vehicles during the match. In fact, it was also stated that in this mode, there would not be any villains or heroes — just players who wants to win the game.

Of course, since this is a death match mode, GameSpot also said that players will have to pick up the weapons that are "scattered throughout the map."

"Star Wars: Battlefront" is scheduled to be launched on Nov. 17, 2015. It is going to be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles and on the PC platform.
