"Street Fighter" fans will be seeing once again another legendary character to battle it out against fellow Street Fighters. Japanese game developer Capcom has announced on its Capcom Pro Tour event at the Community Effort Orlando (CEO) 2016 the arrival of one of its classic "Street Fighter" characters, the boxer Balrog. The latest addition to the "Street Fighter V" roster will be playable in the game's story mode.

In addition, the ninja Ibuki will also be available in "Street Fighter V" come July 1.

Balrog is an American boxer who was first introduced in "Street Fighter II." He was originally named M. Bison (Mike Bison) in Japan; however, due to a striking resemblance to former world boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, Capcom USA decided to reshuffle the names of the bosses in the second installment of "Street Fighter."

Hence, the boxer that was named M. Bison in Japan, was switched to Balrog when the game was intorduced in the United States. Moreover, the Hispanic hired killer who's initially known as Balrog was later changed to Vega, and finally, the game's final boss, who was once dubbed as Vega was also changed and is now known as M. Bison (Major Bison).

Moreover, Balrog, as earlier reported, is one of M. Bison's henchmen who was once a world boxing champion, but due to his dirty tactics inside the ring that could inflict serious injuries to his opponents, he was forbidden to play the sport for good, which led the evil M. Bison to render his services.

His fighting style will, of course, center on his impressive boxing moves. With "Street Fighter V's" V-skills and V-trigger, players will have to watch out for this technical fighter.

Furthermore, Balrog's standard and premium outfit will be included in the said update. Fans will also get Balrog's stage arena, complete with onlookers and the Golden Bullion casino as background.

The "Street Fighter V" update will be available this July 1.
