Microsoft Surface Book 2 release date soon: what to expect

Rumors claiming that Microsoft will soon unveil its Surface Book 2 have become even louder after a photograph alleged to be that of the device was uploaded on social media.
Numerous sources have claimed that Microsoft is set to unveil the latest line of its Surface products soon. While it's true that it is speculated that the company will not release a Surface product this year because, allegedly, it is still waiting for the Intel Kaby Lake processor that the devices will pack, it is also suspected to release, one, at least, before the year ends as a photograph of a placeholder taken at the company's office seems to suggest so.
However, with Surface Instagram account uploading a photo of a keyboard and describing it with the phrase "Your Key to Success," many now believe that the company is set to release the Microsoft Surface Book 2 soon. Unconfirmed reports also claim that the prototypes of the said device are already available and will either come in black or dark-colored metal material.
Nonetheless, there are also claims saying that the uploaded photo on Instagram was nothing but a hoax and was the same promotional material used for the current Surface Book 2. It is also claimed that the Surface team in Microsoft is one of the most-kept teams in the company, hence, leaks cannot be expected.
Whether the said image is a hoax or not, various rumors and speculations continue to persist as to what the Surface Book 2 may offer. Apart from packing the Intel Kaby Lake processor, rumor has it that it will boast of a stunning 4K resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels, too.
It is also expected that the device will come with an improved hinge as the said part of the current device, also known as the fulcrum hinge, failed to get the nod of many of its users because of the problems it causes.
However, with Microsoft tight-lipped on any of its upcoming Surface devices, everything has to be taken with a grain of salt at this point in time.
