Surface Pro 4 News: New Microsoft 'laplet' to be released in just a few days

As Apple fans rejoice with their new iPad Pro, another super tablet is on its way to hit the market in the next couple of days.

According to Christian Post, after months of delay Microsoft is finally on point on revealing the upcoming "Microsoft Surface Pro 4". Fans of the Surface Pro series are excited to see the upcoming new developments with their device, one being the possibility of the "Surface Pro 4" carrying at 1-terabyte of internal storage.

Neurogadget has already reported some of the leaked specifications of the "Surface Pro 4". It has been speculated that the new "laplet" would either be powered with the Intel Core M Broadwell CPU or the Skylake processor. The "Surface Pro 4" has also been rumored to have at least three variants of memory at 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.

Other than the possible 1TB storage, other variants can come in 128GB, 256GB and 512-gigabyte.

Latinos Post has also reported that fans could expect two variants for the "Surface Pro 4", one with a 12-inch display and another with a 14-inch display. Both screens are expected to have a 2160 x 1440 QHD resolution.

In another report by Christian Post, it is speculated that the new device would be running with the new Windows 10 Operating System, and could have full desktop supported applications like Photoshop and AutoCAD. This would really step up their game as the new "Surface Pro 4" is expected to cater to professionals. The report also adds that the new device would have more USB ports to increase its storage capacity.

According to Latinos Post, the new device is expected to be priced at least $800 with the 14-inch "Surface Pro 4" speculated to be $100-$150 higher.

Microsoft is still mum about their upcoming "Surface Pro 4" series, fans would just have to wait for the device's official launch on Oct. 6.
