'The Elder Scrolls 6' rumors and speculations: Bethesda has multiple works in progress, including 'Battlecry'; is 'TESVI' one of them?

(The Elder Scrolls Online Official Website)

Bethesda has recently released a statement for one of their upcoming games "Battlecry," saying that they have "concerns" for the IP. However, instead of focusing attention to the mentioned title, fans have been wondering about the "multiple projects" they are currently working on and if the game "The Elder Scrolls VI" is included in one of them.

The developer wrote on their statement via PC Gamer, "We have concerns about the Battlecry game and whether it is meeting the objectives we have for it. We are evaluating what improvements the game needs to meet our quality standards. The studio remains busy during this process on multiple projects."

The statement may not be that odd for the casual players but for the meticulous gamers out there, this could very well act as a potential clue whether Bethesda really is developing "The Elder Scrolls VI" or not.

However, as reported countless times before, the developer is currently working on numerous big titles such as "Doom," "Dishonored 2," "Fallout 4," and its DLCs and Mod Tools, further expansions for "The Elder Scrolls Online" according to Inquisitr and lastly, "Battlecry."

This could very well explain why Bethesda mentioned that in their announcement. However, one can't shake the fact that the company pulled a fast one on its fans by keeping "Fallout 4" a big secret for all these years. Furthermore, Bethesda even said that the game was "basically done" even before they announced it on E3 last July.

With all that said, there's still no concrete evidence whether they are really working on "The Elder Scrolls VI" or not. Or better yet, if they are going to pull yet another "Fallout 4" surprise in the years ahead.

Needless to say, all of these are just pure speculations so better take it with a grain of salt for now, and wait for the official words coming from Bethesda about "The Elder Scrolls VI."
