'The Elder Scrolls VI' news, rumors: 'Skyrim' remastered version coming?

(Bethesda)"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"

Fans of "The Elder Scrolls" are still waiting for an update on the next installment in the franchise from Bethesda, but so far, no one knows when the game will be released or what it will bring to the table. However, a recent job listing was spotted suggesting that Bethesda is aiming for "The Elder Scroll VI" to have high-end graphics.

According to a Zenimax Media Inc. job posting, Bethesda is currently looking Graphics Programmers who will be part of a working team "that is pushing the bleeding-edge of RPG development for the PC and consoles." Although the job ad didn't specify what game the programmer will be working on, speculations are rife that somehow it involves "The Elder Scrolls" franchise.

According to GamingBolt, the idea is possible but it doesn't necessarily mean that the new graphics programmers will be working on a new "The Elder Scrolls" installment. However, it's also possible that this job is for someone who might be working on the remastered version of "Skyrim."

This remastered version has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, and word has it that Bethesda might focus on this project first before they should make a brand new game title.

Based on the comments, people are not so thrilled about the idea of Bethesda making a remastered version of "Skyrim" and even think of it as a waste of time, since the game didn't need to have improved graphics in the first place.

Then again, this is just pure speculation and Bethesda hasn't issued an official announcement yet. Fans are hopeful that the company will share some important information about the long-awaited game in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which will be held in June.

Meanwhile, "The Elder Scrolls" continue to face several rumors, despite the lack of updates from Bethesda. The developer may have confirmed that a sequel, is happening but it didn't mention that "The Elder Scrolls VI" is already in development.

Yibada gathered that fans should expect news about the game from Bethesda itself by 2017, which is presumed to be the year when the company completes all downloadable content updates for "Fallout 4."
