Bethesda's The Evil Within has gone gold and the game is ready for its October release date as announced.

"Congrats to everyone at Tango Gameworks and everyone else that was involved in the process of making the game — your hard work has helped create a survival horror game that we believe people will be talking about for a long time," according to the Bethesda's official blog.

The initial plan was to introduce the title in August, but due to undisclosed circumstances, it was pushed back to October.

Bethesda has also published the list of recommended PC system specifications for the game.

These include 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8, i7 with four plus cores, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB HDD space, GeForce GTX 670 or equivalent with 4 GB VRAM, High Speed Internet Connection, Steam account and activation.

Bethesda stressed, "It's worth noting that the 50 GB of space required is for the PC install. When the installation is complete, the game will take up ~41 GB of HDD space."

The post also summarized the install sizes for the console versions of The Evil Within:

- Xbox One: 40 GB HDD space.

- PS4: 40 GB HDD Space.

- PS3: 7 GB HDD Space.

- Xbox 360: 7GB HDD Space.

Director Shinji Mikami, the same genius behind the mega hit Resident Evil, worked his magic again with this new title.

Together with other members of the Tango Gameworks' team, they took the audience into a behind-the-scenes web trailer of The Evil Within.

The Evil Within release date is scheduled for launch across Europe and North America on Oct. 13, followed by Australia and New Zealand on Oct. 16 and Oct. 23 in Japan.

The game will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
