Power? Style? Utility? Reliability? These are only some of the things that customers are looking for in a car, particularly in a pick-up truck. Thankfully for them, Toyota would be releasing a model that ticks all of the requirements.

The Toyota Tacoma is a mid-sized pick-up truck that may not be as large as the usual pick-up trucks available in the market today. What it lacks in sheer size, however, it makes up for in attitude and style.

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma has a 2.4 liter four-cylinder and a standard five-speed manual transmission. The corporate 3.5 litre V-6 replaces the old 4.0. Toyota has also incorporated the D-4S port and direct-injection system which makes the Tacoma the first pick-up in the US-market with this kind of technology along with Toyota 86, Lexus IS350 and Lexus GS350.

There is an Off-Road version of the 2016 Toyota Tacoma that is fitted with an electronic locking and limited-slip rear differential, 16-inch wheels, and hill start assist. There is also a new selectable-terrain system that allows drivers to alter the throttle response, brakes aggressiveness, and traction control.

Also, the new Tacoma offers a crawl-control program that uses low-speed cruise control and hill-descent control to automatically handle acceleration and braking from 1 to 5 mph. It also comes with 17-inch wheels.

The price of this brand new 2016 Toyota Tacoma starts at $ 24,200 which is a little bit steeper than the Chevrolet Silverado by $3,205 and more than a grand expensive than the 2015 version of the same model. 

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma comes in various stunning colours. It comes in Blazing Blue Pearl, Inferno and a very unique, Quicksand, which conveys a sense of specificity.

The Toyota Tacoma 2016 was made available at the onset of this month, however, not all locations have received their stock of the brand new model. Enthusiasts are advised to contact their local Toyota dealership to receive updates regarding the new Tacoma.
