Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed Unity patch 4 to fix majority of bugs and issues

Ubisoft has addressed quite a lot of issues pertaining to Assassin's Creed Unity, but the recent Q&A segment in their official website offers more beef and guarantee of fixes. Patch number four is underway.
"Work continues on Patch 4, which should bring improvements to the framerate as well as additional fixes. We're still testing some fixes in Patch 4, so we'll have a more detailed preview next week," it said.
Although the official release date of the patch has not been announced, fans are expecting updates before the week ends.
Ubisoft has also identified four major priorities that they are closely tracking. These include game crashes after loading the save, game freezing, legacy recognition issues and companion app issues.
"We're devoting a lot of attention to this one and we have a workaround (try taking your system offline and reload your save, you should be able to play offline)," the developers said. They also encourage players to send open a Customer Support ticket for inquiries.
Aside from these, players should also notice improvements to the overall framerate of the game.
Another coming soon for those who have purchased Season Pass is the redemption details for the free game. According to Ubisoft, they are working on a "web-based solution for submitting requests and distribution fulfillment".
This is aside from the free Dead Kings DLC that the studio offered to fans to make up for the rocky launch.
Assassin's Creed Unity is one of the most anticipated and most hyped video games of 2014. It is unfortunate that bugs and technical issues have diminished the quality of the title, and consequently, the interest of the gaming community.
Despite Assassin's Creed Unity's disappointing launch and reviews, the studio is pushing through with the release of Assassin's Creed Rogue in 2015. Pre-order for the game is available now.
