Ubisoft's Watch Dogs has just reached Nintendo Wii U platform and released two new DLC packs for the console. Unlike other premier action adventure titles that often only launch on Xbox One and PS4 consoles, Watch Dogs has opened its doors for Nintendo's next-gen device as well.

Watch Dogs first DLC pack on Wii U is Conspiracy. Different from the usual downloadable content where new weapons and characters are presented, this one features mini games, or digital trips. The DLC currently retails in the European eShop for €4.99 / £3.99 / CHF5.90.

The second DLC pack is Access Granted. This one features new outfits, skills and three additional contract missions. This bundle sells for €6.99 / £5.49 / CHF8.60.

Dubbed one of the most successful releases in 2014, Watch Dogs had sold more than 8 million copies in July. The game has also received great reviews from gaming pundits.

"Watch Dogs is fundamentally very well made, and has more than enough unique ideas to make it a great and memorable open-world action game," said Dan Stapleton of IGN.

Despite cancellation reports, the high-definition open world game was released for Nintendo Wii U on Nov. 18 in the US. To drum up noise for this relatively subtle introduction, Ubisoft released stunning photos of the live Watch Dogs gameplay for Nintendo's HD console.

Watch Dogs, however, will not be launching Bad Blood in Nintendo Wii U, a DLC pack that released in Xbox and PlayStation consoles in September. The studio is firm with this decision, so far.
