Xbox Games with Gold free games August 2016 prediction: What to expect in next month's lineup?

It's the middle of the month, and for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners, that means that the Xbox Games with Gold free titles that they have access to are changing.

"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2" will no longer be available starting July 15 and taking its place will be the action adventure title "Tron: Evolution" that will become accessible starting a day later on July 16.

"Tron: Evolution" features both action and racing segments, giving players some needed variety and it even has a multiplayer component for those looking to play with friends.

Similar to "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2," "Tron: Evolution" will be made available via the Xbox Games with Gold program for the Xbox 360, though Xbox One owners will also have access to it thanks to its backwards-compatibility, according to the official Xbox website.

Xbox One owners will also be getting another free game starting July 16 in the form of the action-puzzle game "Tumblestone." In "Tumblestone," players can either choose to look into the lore of the game further by trying out its story mode or try to solve puzzles together with friends by opting for the multiplayer offerings.

"Tumblestone" will remain accessible to Xbox One owners up until the middle of August.

For now, Microsoft has yet to announce which other free titles will be coming in August via the Xbox Games with Gold program since that eagerly anticipated announcement is typically made closer to the end of the month.

If this month's list is any indicator however, then gamers can probably look forward to some triple-A titles being made available via the program yet again. Indie titles are likely coming too for those players who want to enjoy some distinctly different gaming experiences.

More news about the Xbox Games with Gold free games lineup for August 2016 should be made available soon.
